59th Annual Traditional Spanish Market
Santa Fe Plaza (downtown)
July 24 & 25, 2010

More than 200 Hispanic artists will gather on the Santa Fe Plaza for the 59th Annual Traditional Spanish Market, which features an array of Spanish Colonial art works, including:
- hand-carved furniture
- tinwork
- weavings
- straw appliqué
- images of saints

This is the largest Hispanic market in the country, so please come and join us!

Live entertainment from the Plaza Band stage accompanies the festivities all weekend long.

24th Annual Contemporary Hispanic Market
Lincoln Avenue (downtown – next to the Plaza)
July 24 & 25, 2010
8am – 5pm

The Contemporary Market is held outdoors on Lincoln Avenue next to the Santa Fe Plaza. There will be 134 booths with many medium forms of artwork created by New Mexico Hispanic resident Artists and is free to the public.

The Mission of the Contemporary Hispanic Market is to provide statewide Artists an opportunity to show their work while giving both the casual and serious collector a rare opportunity to meet and visit with some of the most respected Hispanic Artists currently producing art in New Mexico today.

The Contemporary Hispanic Market is committed to showcasing original work and individual expression in the mediums of:
- painting
- printmaking
- sculpture
- photography
- furniture
- jewelry
- ceramics
- weaving
- and much more.

Robb Rael, resident of Santa Fe, NM was selected as the 2010 poster artist with his gouache painting, “Moonlite”.

Hispanic Contemporary Market Preview at the Santa Fe Convention Center
Each year the artists are honored during a Preview and Awards Ceremony where patrons will have a preview of artwork (artwork will be for sale during the evening) and can meet the exhibiting artists. The event will be held this year at the Santa Fe Convention Center. There will be hors d’oeuvres and entertainment. The public is welcome and this is a free event.
