A new bike, walk and horse trail will begin this year linking Eldorado and Rancho Viejo. The trail will be four miles long, paved and 8-10 feet wide. Eldorado residents will be able to ride their bikes to the Santa Fe Community College and the trail will also be enjoyed by walkers too.
The trail will follow an abandoned railway and will start at the end of Avenida de Compadres and go all the way to Rancho Viejo. Plans call for the trail to be completed within a year.
